Two small issues. Outlook calender sync and help w/battery

I have yet to find how to sync my outlook calender. The sync on the google did not work. Also, I know that the battery life on these phones are not very good but is there anything that I can do to make it better?

To sync with outlook I use Google calendar sync.

Thanks! I did this but it said that my outlook version was too old. Where would I get an updated version?

Have you tried the HTC Sync that came with the phone?

I think you need Outlook 2007 or 2010 for Google calendar sync to work. If your running an earlier version you may need to upgrade or try something different. You can upgrade online or at an office supply store.
