These are the steps I followed yesterday How to Root Galaxy Note 5 on Android 7.0 Nougat w/ Magisk! | GalaxyNote5Root.com which got me stock rooted. Since then I've started using this ROM https://forum.xda-developers.com/sp...om-galaxy-note-5-qc5-nougat-deodexed-t3585845 which gets rid of a lot of the Samsung crap. I'm flashing 2.0 now but 1.1 with the debloat and add on zips works fine and I'm still able to pass Safetynet for Android Pay as long as I use the Magisk Hide in the Magisk Manager app.
