txt app

Since Handcent isn't working as a txt app on the Nexus 7 (and it's what I have been using since starting smartphone usage), is there a good txt program out there that does work? I use ADW as a launcher so GO isn't an option I want to play with if it can be helped. tia (Thanks In Advance)

Pretty easy. I just downloaded the Google voice app. And you can text from right there. Just have to get a Google voice number on the computer first for free. Then your linked in to it for the app on the 7. It'll bring up your phone book too. But you will be texting from whatever number u choose on Google voice. Then i use groove ip lite to make calls. It's same way. Big phone. Lol.

Yeah, since Verizon is my carrier, I finally installed the Verizon txt app, seems to work.
