U11+: Hours of reboots, then operational & repeat

Last night while playing Zen Word, my U11+ rebooted (very slowly), then kept rebooting in a seemingly perpetual loop. At first, I thought it had shut down due to battery drain, but it was at 86% during the first reboot.

I did see a notice during bootup that the AAA (Auto Club) app had stopped, with a prompt for information or to stop (neither of which had a visible reaction when selected).

I let it run continuously to drain the battery so I could safely remove the SIM card but, after some time, it completely booted and was operable. I uninstalled the AAA app.

The next morning, after working for 20-30 minutes, it repeated the process and that is continuing now.

Tried to clear cache; holding down Power & Volume + at the right time got me to the selection screen, but selecting Recovery got a blank screen for several seconds followed by a red triangle with an exclamation point. The phone failed to respond to any button presses, but eventually timed out and rebooted as before.

So... any suggestions on the path to take from here?

Can explain little more on this that you mentioned I'm confused , you don't need to drain the battery to remove a sim card that can be removed anytime.
Once your battery drained did you charge it up close to 100 percent?

That got me there, thanks. Unfortunately, wiping the cache does not seem to have fixed my phone's problem. The boot failure process is now slightly different (it doesn't quite get to the normal backdrop before blanking the screen for a longer period of time before & during reboot).

You may need to try a factory reset, then.
It may be too late. My phone recovered in the evening as it had in the morning, so I took the opportunity to back up the pictures and videos, but I made a mistake in trying to have the phone list the contents of a folder while I was copying the Documents folder. This caused my computer (a Win11Pro system with 64GB) to reboot and my phone to shut down. It refuses to boot using either the Power button or the Volume + & Power combo.

I did make an interesting observation while it was doing the repetitive boot/fail loop; it got (seemingly) completely booted while on battery power before starting over, but failed to load the backdrop if the phone was plugged in to power (an older, non-QC supply). I wonder what's up with that. Perhaps the non-QC power supply didn't have enough juice.

I was wondering if I installed ADB on my Win10Pro laptop if I would be able to force access to the phone somehow. Any thoughts?

Wow, I've never heard of this kind of thing happening. Are you able to boot back into the Recovery Menu and do the factory reset from there? Or are you still trying to preserve some of the data currently on the phone?

I am unable to get any response from the Power or Power & Volume+ buttons, even after holding them down for 45 seconds. I'd need some means of forcing a response through the USB port.

Did you already try leaving it on the charger overnight? If you did and it's still unresponsive, then it sounds like a complete failure of the motherboard or the power circuitry. That'd require a repair shop, unfortunately. Sorry!
