Uh-oh, foggy lens problem?

It gets humid in a lot of places. I said extreme temperature changes. There is air inside your phone is at atompheric pressure. They do not pull or seal a phone in a vacuum, nor is the phone air tight. We don't know how the phone was handled.

All I heard was Charlie Brown's teacher. In those humid places, I would expect the extreme temp change. All I know is I don't want a phone with foggy lens issues.

But yes. Way early to panic.

I've seen this all day on Reddit, but it's multiple pictures of one phone. They say multiple reports but I've only seen one phone.

Supposed Samsung response, not verified but pretty much what @Mike Dee said

> Cause: In order to maintain internal pressure, moisture may enter via the Gore-tex venting hole. When introduced to extreme temperature differences, fogging may occur.
>
> Assessment: This is a natural phenomenon. Other devices operate in the same way when exposed to similar conditions. Try to keep you device from being exposed to extreme temperature differences.

Keep in mind none of the reviewers have reported any issues.

If this does end up being more than a one-off issue, I'd be curious to know how long the camera glass remains fogged up -- is it just for a few seconds or a few minutes? Even a few seconds could be the difference between getting or missing a choice shot.

It's so natural that this has never been reported before in a Samsung phone.. Okay.....

Just one phone, though. Won't panic for now.

I think this is a doctored photo. I saw the same exact phone in that case in another picture today for something else. No fog.

I don't trust iPhoneArena when it comes to android news. They usually exaggerate anything against Android and they have that reputation.

I will test it out when I drive my Cobra from Vegas (1%) humidity to Boston (85%) humidity in about 48 seconds 🤔😜

*blink blink* Cobra? As in SVT like your name? Stats please. And feel free to detour South where there's more humidity than you could stand. 😊
