Did you got your issue resolved with the block IME?
Update to this saga

Verizon was no help they said the person that has an account with them is in default and that IMEI is associated with them , I said that's fraud I can provide proof of purchase , they didn't care so I have contacted BBB and FCC hopefully they can get it resolved.

Wait so who bought the phone you did?

That's crazy how could they even say that that makes no sense sounds more to me like somebody got the wrong IMEI number associated to the blocked account
I agree
They won't do anything until that person account is paid up , even though phone is not theirs and I never had an account with them lol

Yeah , it's unbelievable I told them I can email them it with any other documents like driver license, they said nope I'm sorry
I would try to get back to them and take it up to command chain that's totally ridiculous and somebody definitely dropped the ball when they linked your phone

I know it might be another lost cause but is there a way to get Samsung involved
I tried they said they don't blacklist devices only carriers this was with tech support and customer service and my T-Mobile rep 3 way

WOW, this is crazy. It's a brand new Samsung phone, and somehow, a stranger got your IMEI information. This is outrageous. I would demand that Samsung get you a replacement.
