Welcome to Android Central forums. I didn't even know we were up to One UI 8. Last I heard it was in beta, maybe that was just for us older model owners. Glad you figured it out though.

I tried typing this at least 5 times but I can't get it to not sound like I'm saying you posted in the wrong area. You didn't. This is probably one of, if not the, heaviest trafficked area on the site. Good for general stuff but AC also offers device specific forums too. For those times when only your people understand or would know where you're coming from. There is also several that are not device related.

What specific phone are you using? If you let us know, myself or another moderator will be able to move your thread to the specific forum for that device, which will be more helpful to other people who also use that device.

Setting - Galaxy AI .. click on "now brief" and turn it off ..

You have the same device as I have and I don't really have any AI enabled other than the photo editing and I don't use that. I still use Assistant over Gemini. Both can add events to your calendar but Gemini can't read the screen to me. Oh, and it talks toooo much. With Assistant, Hey Goo... What time is it? 14:00, with Gemini, Hey, what time, The time in switzerland is 03:08, did you know that NYC is +4 GMT, this makes the time where you are 14:00. Sorry, back on topic. What aspect of the AI are you trying to turn off? Have you asked Google?

In the lock screen press and hold, you will get a pop up. tap dimiss.

You can disable AI in settings >galaxy AI just tap each sub menu to turn off

Now brief? I thought u mentioned Samsung AI.

Now brief is in settings>lock screen>now bar>toggle off now brief
