Seems the UK rollout has started with O2 being the first. Hopefully the rest will be not too far behind.

Only 02 atm. Most other EU countries now have it.

nothing on my Vodafone Ireland one yet either but I flashed it myself on the other one but to be honest I don't see the biggest of difference

You get a little pop out map when you exit Google Maps when navigating. That's pretty much it tbh

Nothing yet for any UK networks or unlocked, apart from O2.

Yeah my note runs fine on nougat so I don't need the update. But knowing that it's out and we haven't got it yet is really frustrating me! Keep taping check for updates several times a day even though by being on EE I know it'll be last!

To be fair, my Note 8 is running sweet also and even when the update arrives I might hold off a while.

Mixed reviews and nothing major to bring to the table is keeping me on nougat for now.
I remember the old days of Samsung updates, the S2, Note 2 etc used to get some nice new features included in the update.

anyone with a UK model could just flash it themselves but I do think it shouldn't be necessary, I did it on my dual sim out of curiosity but only because I have another one which is my daily driver at the moment

What did you flash?

Although I need EE EVR for Volte.

Flashing the French version won't give Volte on EE

My Note is unlocked, but I moved from Vodafone to Virgin. Is mine classed as a unlocked or linked to Virgin ?

Will always be unlocked.

You can run carrier Fw to give advanced features ( virgin don't have any advanced features anyway) Or run BTU Fw straight from Samsung.

In the UK wifi calling works out the box on both carrier or BTU. VOLTE does not.

I remember when Samsung added Volte to the unlocked nougat beta on the s7 edge. It was a very exciting moment to not need the EE firmware anymore. But then on the next beta they took it away, never to return again...!

Same with my OP3T. Briefly had it on a beta. Gone with the official release.
