I went for the 22 Ultra 256gb in the exclusive red, I use the perks at work sometimes but with Samsung the trade i seems less so I just traded in the Note 20 Ultra 5g getting £570, also 30% off the Protective standing cover and an old voucher from my watch 4 made the total to £673.

Purchased the Samsung Black Leather Cover at the sane time and received 30% off.

No trade in.

To be honest i was checking trade in prices before the S22 launch and they were giving just £420 for the Note 20 Ultra 5g and at the pre order they gave an extra £150 bonus, which really surprised me and made the deal even sweeter.

I also ordered a clear kick stand case as I liked the same one on my S21U / N20U.

Also ordered another 45W charger as 400 X Samsung chargers in the house isn't enough.

I'm using my S21U until next Friday. Pixel 6 Pro binned due to terrible radios. And I can't bring myself to use my work iPhone 13 for personal use as it makes my teeth hurt. .

I was so looking forward to the P6 Pro too. Thought I'd hang off til they fixed the inevitable teething bugs like the Finger Print Scanner but sounds like there were a few more than a normal Pixel release. Now everyone seems to be selling theirs too.

Yeah. Usual pixel m.o - mediocre hardware, zero q.c and great camera software.

Radios about 20db down on my other devices. Meant not having a signal where it should and dropping calls where it shouldn't.
Takes great pictures, just can't use it as a phone..

Had a fair few bugs , which I could have lived with tbh. ( 7 clicks to swap Sims - cammmon. Or occasionally not connecting to service on Sim1 when coming off WiFi....... )

I think the Pixel radio hardware is flawed TBH and cannot be fixed with updates. Signal issues aside they have also never been able to solve the battery dropping like a stone when away from wifi on a mobile network. Something is amiss, shame as the camera is ace and I do like it.

I have the S22U 512gb in white pre-ordered. The only doubt I have really is the cameras and if the age old samsung issues with anything that moves even a little bit like kids and pets persists.

Seems reviewers are already saying this one's no different. Samsung seem to have just given up even trying to fix that or don't see it as a big enough issue. Using Sports mode for kids and pets isn't my favourite work around for what should be point and click moments

Been a while since I had a Note now and I know Samsung are packing the absolute bare minimum in the boxes nowadays but do they still give you spare S-Pen tips and the removal tool like the good ol days?

Apparently from what I understand not unfortunately.

You get the phone , cable, sim ejection tool and quick start guides.

The S-Pen tips and removal tool were the first to disappear, I think the Note 9 or 10 was the last time they were included. Gradually things have been missing since then.
Looking at a thread already posted on these forums, not only do they not include a charger if you are trading in a phone they want you to return that charger too!
We'll be paying extra for boxes soon at this rate!
