Mines coming from Samsung directly, has said out for delivery since 9.20 this morning, hoping for an evening delivery so I'll be in when it turns up

I'm never ordering from CPW again... they never sent me a 2nd email confirmation, called up yesterday and they said the order disappeared... now I have to wait till the 28th, so I just asked for a refund

I've just got an email from Samsung saying sorry but I will get my phone on Saturday. Completely different order number, no tracking info, nothing useful on that at all. Apologies but the phone has been massively popular and they are having issues with their tracking! Seriously, I'm just gonna go shop next time - sod this pre order malarkey! There was no benefit getting on the Samsung website for the UK folks anyhow but because I'm with the upgrade programme I had to do it that way. Next year I'm just gonna pay this phone off. I would rather have a phone to sell on then "rent" a phone yearly.

Edit: I'm getting it tomorrow - still can't check the tracking though!

I ordered in-store at CPW on 3 April. I popped in this morning at 10am to ask when they thought it might be ready to collect. The guy looked out the back and mine had been delivered to the store on Wednesday ready for release today. Didn't expect to be walking out with it but well pleased Just set it up - I decided to use Nova Launcher configured to look like the Pixel launcher. Really nice!

Just got tracking information going to be delivered sometime tomorrow, luckily I have the day off work *wipes brow*

My tracking says out for delivery and your parcel is at the depot. Hmm, does this mean they tried to deliver and no one answered :-(

Mine turned up today, normal s8 upgraded from a S7e all setup now, I don't know if I'm that impressed to be honest.

Fingerprint sensor is a pain, and iris scanner for me is proving unreliable.

Ugh, called up to try and figure out where it is and the automatic phone system somehow set it to deliver tomorrow, I wanted to collect but the online thing won't let me select Friday now

Received mine at 1pm. Fully charged it but didn't do anything else with it yet. Waiting for kids to go to bed. Can't wait!

Got a text message at 6pm saying it's being delivered tomorrow so definitely working from home.

Phone was supposed to be delivered today. Didn't receive no emails so I phoned cpw. They said there has been a problem with the dispatch and done know when it will be ordered. I told them I'm not happy and they compensated me with £20. I told them to cancel my order and I'll will be spending my £779 elsewhere. Had enough with cpw.

Yeah, came in a massive box for just the phone with a big bag and a smaller pouch thing. Wonder if they were cleaning out a storeroom trying to get rid of them.
