UKB 2.1 Question

Just a quick question on ComRom 2.1 (UKB). I've been running this for a while now and was wondering if I could use the tethering WITHOUT incurring a charge on my VZW account?

I wouldn't use it to tether like movies or anything like that, but maybe emails here and there or something..

If i were download a tethering app from the market, could I use it in that way?

Used Barnacle Tether from the market with UKB 2.1 and never had a charge..
