Ultra 7 battery

I got 2 days for my usage as report by battery status. For my real usage, my routine is to charge my watch 2nd day before bed time. So day and half later I charge the watch. If I turn power saving mode on at 100% charge, it's showed 4 days+.. I have not used power saving mode yet. I don't think I would be needed it.

With the same settings used in my GW6 Classic, I still get 2 days. Hopefully it will get better...

Usually wait a week to judge the battery. got mine on Tuesday and charged it up to 100%. Topped it off again on Wednesday afternoon. Have had AOD off and been using it for sleep tracking and workouts. Here is my battery now on Friday since my last charge on Wednesday.

Not sure why, but today I had a bad battery day. I was on the plane or at an airport most of the day. My battery just kept draining fast.

I understand there is a battery draining bug and Samsung has a fix for it, but not rolled out yet.

UPDATE (7/31/24): My Ultra already had this "update", but it still is getting less than I thought it would battery-wise. I am going to turn off some of the non-essential crap and make sure no notifications are turned on that I did not wish to have turned on.

craziest thing......the battery life on my 7 the last two days has been ridiculous, and on the stellar side. I had to check to see if my watch had received an update overnight. it had not. I've had the watch for a week and this is the best battery life I've had from the OG Galaxy Watch through to now.

1st charge cycle from getting Watch Ultra on 7/29 showing about 2 days w/ 11% left. Settings include: AOD off, auto workout disabled, HR every 10 minutes, SP02 for sleep, gestures enabled, and listening for voice assistant disabled. I realize battery life will improve in a week or so. Will keep you posted.

Second charge w/ settings I used mentioned in earlier post. I'm now at 2.5 days battery life.

I was supposed to get 2 1/2 days since last charge but ended up only get 2 days, 2 hours. For reason, once it got close to 2 days, it started to discharge much faster.

After 3 charge cycles and the August update, my GWU is clocking in a little over 3 days of battery life.
Just put mine back on today after the latest update and full charge. It said I had 3 days and 23 hrs of battery left. Now after 5 hrs and 10 mins usage, it is sitting at 92% and saying I have 3 days and 13 hrs left. We'll see!...

It seems to manage the battery usage better.

Overnight I got a Samsung Health Update and now my battery sucks again! At 57%, I says I have 1 day and 19 hours left while only 1 day, 1 hour has gone by. Far cry from the 3 day, 23 hours it said when I first put it back on!

Sam Health runs permanently in the background wether you want it to or not, and creates the many annoying daily notifications about activity. AFAIK, there is no way to turn it off. Incredibly annoying at best, battery hog at worst.

I don't mind that I just don'tnwant the update to drain my battery and make it worse like someone mentioned. I don't know if it auto updated or not.
