Ultra v Original Maxx

Saw the specs on new Ultra series, including the Droid Ultra Maxx. Not that much improvement over OG Maxx, and with 32gb internal storage with no SD card, think I'll stick with my OG Maxx, even with it's problems that comes with age.

I agree. While the new MAXX is very nice, it isn't a quantum leap over the OG MAXX I've been using for the past year. There's no need to rush out and upgrade as mine still works well and I have never once run the battery down to 0% yet...

Are there any speed improvements? I'm sure the newer processor and the more ram would do wonders. There are times my maxx will bog down, and its annoying as hell.

It will be faster, smoother & have a better display as well as new features not available on our Maxx's. The new radio design might be of benefit to some but I don't see that as something to interest many users however, I suspect battery life will be downright awesome with the new energy saving 8-Core SoC & even larger battery. I really like what I'm hearing but I'm certainly in no hurry to dump my Maxx. If I were, it would be a tough call between the Maxx & Moto X but that said, battery life is addictive.
