Unable to attach, file not supported

Does anyone have a fix for this MMS issue? It occurs intermittently when trying to send a picture taken with the phone's camera. Here's hoping for a software update to address my fairly long list of hugs. TIA.

Call verizon and complain. I have already spoke to them. They point blank told me that people need to call and complain, or it won't be fixed

I have called. The "level 2" tech was pleasant, but not very knowledgeable. Par for the course, I know.

it's a freaking pain to have to call them for minute tech stuff like this though.

you can on Twitter/Facebook too though, to 'raise awareness' or whatever.

Also, seemed like turning off/on helped a little and I haven't had any problems with downloading some of the different messengers from the store.

Same problem, all my searching seems to indicate the problem is specific to the SIII on Verizon but I have not seen a solution suggested online.

I was using "photos" as the default to retrieve and edit pictures from, but then I started using an SD card and the photos program doesn't work with it. I went to application manager, photos and cleared defaults. Then I went to send a picture again and chose "gallery" as the default this time and it worked. Hope this helps

Happens also on the Sprint accounts. Unable to attach file started 2 weeks ago for me.
