"Unable to communicate with this printer" when connecting HP printer to Galaxy Tab E

When using Samsung Print Service Plugin, I am unable to add my printer using the IP address. It just says "Unable to communicate with this printer."

My printer is an HP Officejet 4620 and my tablet is a Galaxy Tab E.

Any tips?

Read the documentation carefully. Is it supposed to be the internal IP address or the external IP address. You should be able to find the internal address in the printer (in Network Settings" or some menu choice like that). The external address would be the one you would see at whatsmyip.org (It depends on whether the app talks directly to the printer [internal] or goes through a server maintained by Samsung [external]. I don't know, since I use Cloud Print [which goes through Google's server].)
