I am trying to connect Samsung Galaxy Verizon S4 SGH-i545 with PC to gain root access so that the hidden codes and menus can be unlocked which are by-default blocked by Verizon, but i am facing the following issues:
- When i connect the phone with USB cable it just beeps and starts charging but "Connected as Media Device" option on notification bar is not showing up. Nothing shows up on PC.
- Have Uninstall and Reinstalled Samsung USB drivers on PC but nothing works.
- Searched on the internet and found out to manually open the USB option from settings>storage options but there isn't any option in my phone.
- Enable USB debugging but still there isn't any option to manually connect phone through USB Cable.
- Tried after changing the USB cable but still the same problem, it just starts charging.
Android 5.0.1 is installed on the phone.
