Unable to Copy and paste

I am unable to copy and paste from a text field with long press. Has anyone had that issue? When I long press nothing will pop up to allow options.

I was able to cut and paste with the following apps:
Samsung Internet
Firefox
Simple Notepad

What are trying to copy from? Copying and pasting with Android is basically the same with different apps. You just have to pay attention to the slight differences.

To start touch the center of a one of the words you want to copy until the word is highlighted.
If you want to copy more text to the left touch the left tab and drag it to the left.
f you want to copy more text to the right touch the right tab and drag it to the right.
Select with copy or cut as desired.
Touch and hold on the destination point for the text.
Select Paste

Why isn't my Samsung S7 not copying and pasting like it should normally be maybe rephrasing the question in this way will help solve the problem instead of someone telling me to Long click and wait for the copy and paste option to pop up which it is not or I wouldn't be posting this question to begin with!

Welcome to Android Central! People are only trying to help -- I didn't notice any kind of condescending tone in MisterEd51's post.

You haven't given any details about the problem you're facing, so it'll be difficult to give you an answer that'll be satisfactory for you. Maybe you can start with that?
