Unable to copy/paste in Chrome URL bar

I remember back some time ago when I attempted to double-tap or long press a website address in Chrome that an option to copy or paste would come up. Now, when I try to do it nothing happens. I'm unable to copy the URL to text it to someone, for example. I even tried unistalling the updates and didn't work.

Does it work for you? Any advice?

Just tried it with a long press and the URL was highlighted in blue with the option to slide further to select more text (URL was longer than the onscreen address bar space). Once I completed selecting the entire URL, had the option to copy.

Have the latest version from Google Play. 50.0.2661.89.

When you use the Google search bar now it opens things in a internal browser "powered by chrome" and not actually in the chrome app. Hit the options button to copy link or open in Chrome.

A factory reset fixed the issue.
