Unable to download images/videos from few new whatsapp groups automatically even from WIFI

I have disabled downloading images/videos etc. in whatsapp from mobile data and roaming (I only download required stuff as needed).

I have enabled downloading all media on wifi network..

I have recently joined some whatsapp groups on my note 3 device (groups found on internet for note 3 device). But only from this few groups I am unable to automatically download those media files when connected on wifi as well..

I tried following but did not work:
Not sure what is the issue, I tried to uninstall and then re-install whatsapp
Enabled downloading from both mobile data and roaming on no luck.
Re-configured all settings again did not worked.
Quit those groups and joined again still dont work.
Joined some more new groups (works fine here).

Even the group where I have joined are not able to fix these..
and as usual there is 0% support from whatsapp... though tried re-requesting them for support 5th time in last 1 month.

Even I am facing the same issue. unable to download few pics and videos but can download others.
