AC Question

I am worried, i accidentally downloaded a bad apk file, and when i tried to do a hard reset to remove the virus, it didn't give me the usual option when attempting the reset. Ordinarily it asks you if you would like to delete the files, and lists multiple answers of "no" and one answer of "yes - erase all data"

This did not, it did not ask me at all if i wanted to delete files once i had selected the option of "Wipe data/factory reset"

It simply says yes or no.

If i then boot the device it is behaving as if it has been erased, I am worried if the virus is still there i have sensitive information on my phone.

You can try wiping the phone in Recovery Mode. Google for instructions.

When i do this, it takes me into the exact same menu as i was originally going into to erase all data.
What it says when i select wipe data/factory reset
