unable to find August 18ths update

My wifes phone got a notification about the new update, and she tried to update it once, but she said it never finished. Now, I can't seem to update it for her.

The phones version is still 2.3.3, and when I goto settings -> system updates -> htc software updates, and do a check, it says the phone is up to date and no update is available.

Has anyone else had this problem? I've tried restarting her phone, and did all the other updates (firmware, profile, prl), but no dice. I hate having to take it to sprint because all they do is do a factory reset, and its a pain to reset up all the preferences, seems like I should be able to manually update somehow.

It's a rolling update so some people might not be receiving it yet. Just wait a little longer. It will eventually show up.

Yeah my phone is not finding it now either. It showed up on the 18th and 19th just fine both automatically and manually searching... but I didn't have time to update it those days so I just cancelled it. Now that I have time, it keeps saying there are no updates when I manually search.

What version does your phone say it has now? Just seeing if it loaded automatically.

Can't download the software update

I pushed off the update the first couple of times because battery was low. I go in now to download it and it says there's no current updates for my phone. I called Sprint and they said I'm out of luck until the next update comes, unless I want to wipe my phone.
I call BS. Anyone know how to get the update? I'm not currently rooted but will unlock using the HTC method once I get the update.

They had me do a ##72786# and hit reset.
They promised it would get the download started..they were wrong.
This is insanity. They pulled the update!!!
