Unable to get 8.1 preview after enrollment for OG Pixel

I'm hopefully someone can she some light. I had posted this also in the Oreo forum but though this forum has more action.

I enrolled my OG Pixel XL 3 days ago and still have not received the notification to install. I have tried check for software update several times as well. Any ideas what could be going on?

I know you can manually install but did not want to go that route or work to use that method.

Have you rebooted the device?

yes. several times. I double checked and shows it's still enrolled.

Did you install the November security patch before enrolling for the Beta? if so, that may be the reason why but I can be wrong though. I was in the 8.1 beta but then went back to 8.0 to install the November security patch. After installing the November security patch, I enrolled back to the 8.1 beta but was unable to download the beta since the November security patch.

That night be it. I got the OTA on my XL last month pretty much instantly. And I've been waiting on the OTA on my November 2 XL...

Guess we'll have to wait for the second build.

Though, that's not really that big a deal since the 2XL had a lot of the 8.1 stuff in it already.
