Unable to make calls from phone book HTC One X

For some reason when I try and make a call from the phone book("People") select the contact to call. The phone goes to the details then i press the number then
the phone always comes back with ""No internet calling account"
there are no internet calling accounts on this phone .Add one now."

I dont want an internet calling account

My mobile provider is Virgin Mobile

If I select "Phone" and then call the contact displayed it will call that person via the Virgin network

I am sure this is something simple as the phone has worked fine so i am sure its something i have done - but what i havent a clue and help will be appreciated

Hi!

Go to the settings and then to apps, and clear the app preference for phone book.

Maybe that will work.
