Hi All,

This seems like it should be an easy fix. When I try to play I heart or YouTube music, or example, on galaxy watch 6 its says its unable to play the audio. If I go and test the sound settings on the watch I can hear the test sound coming from the speaker so I know the speaker works. Is there anything specific I might be missing? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and issue persists. I didn't have any audio issues when I had the gear series.

Thoughts appreciated,
Thanks

Do those apps support using the watch's speakers? Spotify, for instance, in some models (not sure if that was updated) didn't support this. Maybe that's the case with YT Music and iHeart.

Well that is interesting. I installed Pandora and the music played and I have the option for volume and everything. So I don't get that concept. What is the point of having the app on the phone if the app itself doesn't support sending audio to the internal speaker? Seems like watch issue.

Most apps (especially music-centric ones) deem the watch speakers to be either too low quality or if the watch's bandwidth doesn't permit, too limited to have a pleasant experience. So they relegate their music apps on the wrist to basically glorified remote controls. The ones that do support offline playback on the watch, however, should support BT headphones.
