Unable to Play Video - File has incorrect data

[AC Question]

I recorded 2 videos this weekend on a Samsung J3. Both about 2 minutes - saved on a micro SD card. One plays just fine. The other begins, and then gives me an error message of "Unable to Play Video. File contains incomplete data"

I copied to my computer. Video freezes, but audio continues.
Converted copied video file to .wmv, video freezes and audio continues.

Put SD card in Samsung tablet, receive same error.

Any ideas on if I can salvage this video?

Welcome to Android Central! If the file is corrupted, then there may not be much you can do. Backup the files first, then try running chkdsk: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...guide-using-chkdsk-fix-corrupted-sd-card.html
