Unable to save Office documents to SD card

I'm unable to save Office documents to the SD card. Pics save just fine. Also, when I open Office documents on the SD card from my computer with my tab plugged in via USB, the document opens as read only. Anyone know what's going on?

The free MS word app allows only view. Mine opens fine from ST card but was moved from device.

Microsoft office (not free), but I'm more interested in plugging in my tab to my computer and saving office docs to the SD card. I can't get that to work. I have to save to my computer then copy and paste.

Why don't you save everything to Microsoft onedrive and use the onedrive app for opening documents on the tablet?
