Unable to send game screenshots using MMS.

I tried searching the forums but keep getting connection is refused so let me know if this is already posted.

I have a LGUS991 G4 still running 5.1 and seems to be a forever 5.1 device but that's a different story.

I can take screenshots of games but am unable to send them via MMS and always get a "attachment size limit is exceeded" error. This would make sense except that it's only the game screenshots and only one picture. screenshots of the home screen and other stuff seems to be okay. I'm wondering if there is a way to make the native screenshots come out smaller automatically when taken? Screenshots from games range from 4MB up to 7MB in size from observations but other peoples devices are much smaller for the same games and same resolution. Taking a screenshot of the image int he gallery app tends to make the file size bigger.

Transferring to file to a Windows Phone allowed it to be compressed and sent out the same carrier so I'm assuming it's something on the phone itself. There is no MMS limit variable on the APN settings either so I'm not sure where it's controlled.

All mms have a size limit. Perhaps you can shrink the file with an editor type app... Or send via other means..

Maybe, but it's sad that I have to download another app to do something that every phone should do natively, and every other device I've tested is able to do except mine. I also forgot to mention that the 9MB photos off the camera never have a problem. LG can't seem to control the size or compress PNG's very well with this version.

I'll go back to my Lumia before I download another app to get around another limitation of this device. It's getting to be pathetic how much it can't do on it's own.

Yes, there is an article in the news section here about what we'd like our phone to be able to do... Yet even some basic functions are still a shambles in these high tech devices!
