Unable to set "Default" phone numbers

Hi,

I just switched from Note 2 to Note 3.

One thing I observed immediately is the favorite phone listing. I used to be capable of pressing one of "any" contact numbers and select it as "Default".

This option is not available in Note 3.

Result: I dial using my fav screen numbers and it dials the first number listed under that same contact and sometimes it is the wrong number!

Does anyone know this is happening or where to fix the "Default" numbers?

Thanks

You have to go into edit contact. Press the bottom left menu button and you will see set default in the list. From there you can set the defaults for everything including address, telephone number, and email. Hope this helps.

Almost. The menu button brings up this option in the View Contact screen, not the Edit Contact screen.

I struggled to find this mechanism as well. It's a step back from Samsung's previous UI where you could mark a phone number default by simply long-pressing it.
