Unable to stop Samsung Email Client Notifications

No matter how many times I go in and turn off the notifications for the Samsung Email Client, they are back on within a couple of hours. Does anyone have a fix for this?
 
What happens if you go to the App Manager, select Email, and completely turn off notifications there?
 
No fix but same problem. I emailed Samsung support about 2 weeks ago but no reply and I haven't bothered to call. Kinda annoying.. Seems like it's doing this on purpose.
 
This is weird. I never set-up email to display to my watch, so I don't have this issue.
