Has anyone installed the new android market app and realized that when you have only 1 app to update... it won't let you. I have looked everywhere for the option to update it but I can't. I can only update if there are 2 or more that need to be installed... from there I tap "update all". Is this something wrong with the market app I installed or is this a known bug?

I have been using it about a week now and it has been updating apps normally. I check and update nearly everyday.

Though I have noticed that when using it to look through apps, I get foreign language-d descriptions a lot.

Strangely the app force closed and then when I re-opened it I saw that there was the update option now where before it said open... I guess, the problem fixed itself.

I was also having that problem but I just uninstalled the update and will wait for the official

once you see that there's an update i've noticed that it usually takes another hour or so before it'll let me do it if it's just a single app.

I haven't had any of these issues. It updates fine and runs fine. I'm loving the new look too.

Yea...mine does the same thing!

I don't have the new Market.....how do I update it?

And is there any real benefit to upgrade if I like the look of the current version?

If you search the apk I floating around several different places.

The only real benefit is you can download movies and books from the market. Also the UI is pretty slick but it's slow and buggy. I ended up rolling back

Like stated above, there really is not a huge benefit of upgrading the market. The only use I could see was maybe if you had multiple google accounts. The new market allows you to switch google accounts. The books and movies feature is good too, but not exactly "useful".
