Unable to update OS

Everytime I click on About Device>Software Update > Check New, it always pops up a message "To check for system updates, go to Settings>About Device when service is available.

The thing is...service is available! I'm streaming pandora right now!

Why won't it let me update!!??

try rebooting. that or maybe there is no update available

I had the same problem I installed a new sim card that didn't work. I bit the bullet and did a factory reset....... updated perfectly I hope this helps

I just got a new SIM card and the update was available instantly. You might also try Kies, but I'm not sure if they've published it there yet. Last try would be a factory reset.
