Unable to upload Video from Moto G5 to Nero 17 Platinum

I purchased the Moto G5 primarily for the use of the video Camera, I have made numerous short trial clips but can not transfer them to Nero 2017 Platinum on my PC either by USB Cable or Nero MediaHome WiFi Sync.
Pictures transfer easily but Video clips only provide the Audio without any Video Footage.
In Desperation I tried the same procedure with my old Moto G 1st generation and this worked perfectly well as did a trial with my Nexus 7 Tablet.
I returned the MotoG5 Mobile back to the supplier and received another new one but it has the same characteristics.
I have made numerous DVD's with Nero 2017 and previous versions but always in the past used a Flip DVD Recorder.
Can anyone provide a solution please ....thanks in anticipation

Maybe not a solution, just a reason. The video format that the G5 uses may not be compatible with any apps you have on the PC. Have you tried VLC media player - Open Source Multimedia Framework and Player?
