I'm a proud owner of an ov its been a good phone to me and all but with Vm coming out with the evo v and one v I've decided to upgrade but I am unsure witch one to go with I am trying to make an informed decision on witch one to buy I've looked up all the specs but they don't always determine how useable the device really is also on a side note I will root and flash a new rom so what is everyone's opinion on the 2 devices

I've played with the one v and it is pretty incredible for being the same price as the OV at its release. I may buy one. There's a lot of development for it over at xda and its a newer phone. BUT of course the Evo V is like a rocket ship, although most alternate non stock roms have unfixed problems according to leslieann.

id say wait it out a bit more . the OV does leave to desire more but functionality wise you cant go wrong. I want an elite since its cheap + 1ghz cpu and its sexayy

I love my ov I would never get rid of it. Plus honestly I have both my moto triumph and ov running cm7 and overclocked and my ov blows the triumph out of the water

They will get there.
The problem is people are only porting the newest stuff, working or not, but they are getting there.

4g on roms is always an issue, as is 3d. Neither of which are all that important.


There are however some fantastic stock based roms, Harmonia included. The only bug remaining is the fluctuating signal, which isn't much of an issue for most people, you just learn to ignore it (because it rarely makes a difference in operation). The latest prl helps a little and it's rumored that HTC is planning to push a fix for it next month.



The nice thing about these phones...
Not only are they big and fast, but there are TONS of cheap accessories. Cases for $1, docks for $12, batteries for cheap, including Anker and Seido... The only downside to this phone is how large it is, but you adapt to it fast.

If you can do it, it is THE phone to get on VM. However, while I have yet to see one, the One V seems nice, and I can say from experience that the Elite is a kick butt little phone as well (THIN!, very touch sensitive, and colors/darks are really good!). You really can't go wrong with any of them.

I know what you mean. For once I'm going to keep my phone until it breaks lol. I just couldn't bring myself to retire my OV

I really want the evo v and as I said before I wont have 4g coverage but the 3d is a big one along woith the dual core prosser. I didn't consider the elite but I'm going to look into it and as for the one v I like it it seems like a good phone but I want something with good development like my ov
Btw: I love harmonia I do switch roms a lot but I always go back to harmonia

Same here but I will use it to learn how to make roms and stuff like that but keep my nandroid backups just in case
