I had a galaxy note 3 which would underline an incorrect word in red and have a drop down box with corrections which i found very useful, i now have a galaxy note 4 and for some reason i cant find how to enable this feature.

Does anyone know how to. If this feature is no longer available then are there any apps that would do the same??

I use the samsung keyboard.
I have Android OS 6.0.1 Marshmallow

Swiftkey underlines misspelled words, except you click on it to either choose the right spelling or add it to your personal dictionary.

Install google keyboad. You don't have to actually use it just install it. Do a restart. See if red lines appear.

Interesting. I had Google keyboard installed but not used. Using Swype. No underlining in Swype occurred. Then switch to Google keyboard and back to Swype...now it underlines. Maybe just need to switch to Google keyboard from time to time to keep this feature active.

My guess is now that it is working it will keep working but I don't use swype so I don't know. Glad it is working for you! I love that feature.

I have tried using Google keyboard, swiftkey and Swype keyboard, as well as having them installed and using Samsung keyboard but no result. It's annoying that Samsung has removed this feature.
