Underline Spelling Errors in Red

Since lollypop update my Note 3 underlines spelling errors in red. I hate auto correction but love the red underlining feature. You need to install google keyboard for it to work however you don't need to use google keyboard. Just have it installed. This feature never worked on note 3 until 5.0 update. I'm at an ATT store at the mall and I installed google keyboard in the s6edge but I cannot seem to get the red underlining to work? Would someone else try and let me know? A screenshot would be great confirmation. I really need this feature. It draws my attention to possibly misspellings without changing them. I use a lot of jargon that gets "autocorrected" into jibberish if I use normal autocorrection. Thanks

I think you need to set auto replace off but auto spell check on from settings/language and input/Samsung keyboard

It states quite clearly in the description that red underline appears with auto check spelling

That never worked before lollypop. Can you get the red underlining without google keyboard installed?

These are my options in Sammy keyboard. The one you mentioned is not there. Ironically, due to Google keyboard, the red underlining works everywhere except samsung stock email and samsung stock messages. For example it does work in outlook or gmail.

I only have the stock Samsung Keyboard, and the red lines show up during my spelling errors.

I noticed your screen is very different to my one I have 2 options above your screenshot for input languages and then after your auto replace I have auto check spelling and text shortcuts after your screenshot there is another 3 options for key tap feedback and two other settings for adjust KB size and reset settings

Also my toggles are a switch not a tick box

Have you set your language and default KB to Samsung ? are you running 5.02 ?

Had to reboot my phone to get it to work, but now it does. Thank you!

Yes, I forgot that step. Before lollypop it didn't work at all on VZW Note 3 no matter what you did. It annoys me it doesn't work with sammy email app.

Wow. That sucks. It is a great feature. One more reason to hold on to my Note 3.
