I have been getting this error randomly and when I open the dialer. I have cleared the cache as well as restored the whole phone and it's still doing it. Any thoughts?

I'll admit the reset should have done this, but let's try clearing the cache in recovery: https://motorola-global-portal.cust...prod_answer_detail/a_id/101072/p/30,6720,9197

Follow the hardware key steps, but there should be an option to clear the cache partition. Try that.

It happens to me every time the phone rings for an incoming call. "Contacts has stopped". It's so annoying.

And I don't want to have to reset my phone or go to any crazy config screens. Wiping the phone and restoring everything is a major pain in the a$$. I want them to fix it so it works.

Wtf? Mine all of a sudden doesn't show calls on the screen. It rings or vibrates and that's it.
