Unfortunately, Home has stopped LG G4 H815, how can I fix this?

"Unfortunately, Home has stopped" LG G4 H815

I am now rooted using the video instructions from ROOT JUNKY, but I am getting this error message "Unfortunately, home has stopped" I went to the Apps setting and resets app preference and also clear the home cache but to no effect.

I am able to get the simple home setting but not the other advance home setting. please help if you can. Thanks in advance

I've had the same problem on my LG G4 - Android 6

**Breaking News**: I found something like "clear Smart Settings"
It was just after I made a backup of the LG G4 excluding the "home settings" - but I didn't restore.

Hope you understand. Translated to english from my danish ;-)

Your English is fine -but I'm Finnish so...

I have the same issue in Marshmallow and I'm a bit unclear on "Clear Smart Settings" - Did you simply "Disable" all smart settings or is there something else I should find?
I've looked through all of the smart settings I can find on my T-Mobile G4 - and don't see "Clear Smart Settings".
Please be patient this is my first Cell phone in over 15 years and I LOVE IT! DOH!

As far as I remember; I performed a backup of the G4 where I unselected "Home settings"
After the backup (I didn't restore) I saw an option like "Clear Smart Settings"

Go to:
Apps.
Menu.
Home screen.
Turn off Smart Bulletins.
