Unfortunately internet has stopped. Galaxy Tab 2, what do I do?

Unfortunately internet has stopped. Galaxy Tab 2

Internet keeps stopping and I get the above message. It happens randomly, no pattern to be found. Sometimes it won't do it for a few days, other times it will happen over and over again soon after the previous one. I can't uninstall then reinstall because internet doesn't appear in my app manager and for the same reason I can't clear the cache.

I have a tab 2.7.0 Internet shows in my app manager but you need to display all apps by swipin from the right afew times. You could try another browser to rule out whether it's the installed app
