I really like this phone. I wanted to make it work. But unfortunately I will be returning tomorrow. Software is to buggy. GPS buggy. Call quality buggy. Mic too sensitive even changing setting. Buggy stutter I just can't love the phone. There's lot of UI features I like. But the GPS bugs was the nail in the coffin. Suck because this was my first LG experience and although not great it was very good. I'm gonna a miss the most the screen size and pop up features along with Quick View. Maybe down the road I will give LG a second chance. And although this was not LG fault directly I refuse to buy into PMA as its so limited in accessories.

It's hard to choose the right phone nowadays. Lots of great phones out there. What are you looking to get instead?

Sorry! I didn't mean to imply that an update was imminent but one would hope.! I was suggesting that maybe you can wait until lg/carrier starts sending out updates to fix the many issues people are having more or less

Yeah there's some major players. I'm going back to my M8. But I ordered the Z2 to see if I'll like that.

I've got the G3 on T-Mobile. All is great here. Voice data and GPS. Sounds like you've got a buggy handset or something.

I haven't had any major issues so far and a update will only improve this device, I would wait it out !

I received a European update a day or two ago here in UK, so LG are on the ball in that respect and you can probably expect US updates soon.

Exactly buggy. And other people have reported compass issues. I have another post on here talking about it. I do know software can fix it all, however I'll wait my options and see how the Z2 fairs. In all cases I have my M8 which I actually miss using. Lighter faster UI with less software bug. I didn't realize the mic sensitivity till twice yesterday. The UI is very laggy. This is not bad things. But with it being ATT, it's best I just wait. The Z2 will be carrier free and I severely miss carrier free devices because of reasons like this.

Well that's one thing we don't suffer from here in Scotland is carrier branding or bloat.

Shame that your experiencing these issues and spoiling your experience of an otherwise great device.

So I returned back to best buy. No restocking fee and kept gift card. I don't think the guy knew what he was doing.

If you had it for longer than 78 hours, then you shouldn't have gotten your gift card back. Not sure about the restock fee though.

I was told I would have to return the gift card and restock fee but neither one happened. *shrugs

If you are a rewards card member and silver or above I don't believe they charge the restock fee. I'm taking mine back as well. Love the device, but my battery performance has not been very good at all, but that is the biggest problem I've had with it. I think I'm going to hold off for the Note 4.
