please explain how to uninstall the lollipop update for the Moto G Android phone and how to make the keyboard works I am unable to write anything and there is a lag nothing works I cannot do anything barely on my phone please help

Welcome. :)

Before you consider doing that, have you tried a Cache Partition wipe, and perhaps even considered a Factory Reset?

I have been having near constant problems with my Moto G ever since I downloaded Lollipop back on November 18th. The phone keeps freezing, the keyboard has some serious lag, I have almost no storage space despite deleting apps and files, and some of my apps freeze on startup or refuse to work. Worse, my phone will not sync to my laptop via USB cable, it keeps saying that the driver is missing. Motorola tech support wasn't much help.
I did a cache wipe a few days ago, and that did not help one bit. Will a factory reset get rid of Lollipop?
I bought the phone in 2014 and it is a Verizon pre-paid plan, so I am assuming it is a 1st Gen Moto G.

No, a factory reset will leave you with a new, out-of-the-box phone with Lollipop on it. You'll have to flash KitKat if you want it back. (Make sure to back everything up first - see Backing up an Android Device.) Just removing Lollipop leaves you with a phone with no operating system.
