Uninstalling flash?

So here's the story: wanted hulu to work on my nook so I downloaded and installed flash from the market, found out that didn't work and then did my research, found that you're supposed to use a modded flash .apk, tried to "update" flash with modded apk, didn't work, attempts to uninstall flash to re-install with modded flash apk fail, 8-booted and re-nooter'd the nook, still updating/uninstalling flash still fails.

Off topic issue: Also, I tried putting honeycomb onto the internal memory with this guide: http://forums.androidcentral.com/ba...oneycomb-internal-memory-emmc-nook-color.html but stop at step 5 because I get an error when "formatting /data". Even tried gingerbread with this guide: http://forums.androidcentral.com/ba...release-gingerbread-internal-memory-emmc.html after which the unit would constantly get stuck on the rainbow nook logo on boot.

Any help/input on these issues would be greatly appreciated! I considered resorting to adb solutions, but I'm really not familiar with command prompts :(

TL;DNR I can't get adobe flash off my nook, uninstalling and even 8-booting didn't work. What do?

To anyone who cares about the "Error formatting /data" issue, I read the newer nook color's internal memory has been partitioned differently. Here's a post on how to fix that: xda-developers - View Single Post - Brand new NC w/ 1.2 no sd boot

So with this, I 8-booted, nooter'd, did the partition fix (then had to reregister and went ahead and renooter'd too), and from there I was able to follow the other guides on this site to put cm7 or honeycomb on my nook.
