Unknown device: USB device not recognized

I've been trying to connect my device to the laptop,but it is not getting recognized. I've tried in multiple laptops, but the error persists.
It was working absolutely fine until now.
What can be the issue?

Welcome to Android Central! Cables can fail, so try a different USB cable. Also try a different USB port on the computer.
