I'm pretty sure that's the Android 16 icon (minus the orbiting bugdroid) -- that can show up when the system is doing something like updating, or sometimes even just starting up:

It's definitely similar, but definitely not a match. There are no visual matches, and I've gotten

I wish it was, and its definitely simular. But no, I have scoured Google and found some that are close. IMG_20251022_154239.jpg
That's a Russian taxi company in Georgia. My phones been pinging there every once and a while.
It's close to Dropbox as well. I'm looking for as close to 100% accurate as can be.

I really think it's the Android 16 logo. Just look at the central diamond shape without the orbiting Android, and note how the triangles are arranged.

I can't find an example yet on the web, but it's analogous to the Android 14 logo:

Aha, found another example that's close to what we're looking for in this article: https://www.phonearena.com/news/goo...ns-android-16-its-double-edged-sword_id168509. Look at that diamond-shaped icon, which is a system notification:

That's it! Thank you! One question figured, now why would it be on two of my phones when I've never gone further than keyboard settings? I've have no idea what it is, let alone turn it on.. I have had a few instances where my os says its 14, but I thought it was a mistake.

Does it only show up immediately after a reboot, and then disappear soon after? I've seen that kind of behavior on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, so some manufacturers might show that icon as the system is finishing starting up.
