Just got a new nexus from an insurance claim (I know, I'm an idiot for already getting water damage on one) and its not activating because "there are some problems, just keep trying every 30 minutes." Yeah ok Verizon.
Would I run into any problems if I unlocked and rooted in the meantime (before activating the phone)? I wouldn't think so but just wanted to try and cover my bases.
