No. Verizon is CDMA, AT&T is GSM. Different type of network.

Well, I have an unlocked Verizon G3 that I used on AT&T without problems for a while. When I got a new AT&T phone
I put my Verizon SIM in the G3 and it is working just fine.

That's fine, but Verizon won't let you use their network with an AT&T phone. You're talking about the other way around.

I'm not sure I understand how you could use a GSM phone on a CDMA network whether they "let" you or not.

I believe the phone has the appropriate bands to function on other networks. Verizon one will work on ATT because it has the gsm bands. The question of bands for an ATT phone on a CDMA network is irrelevant because of my previous statement about Verizon. Hope that clears it up.
