Unlocked Bootloader?

So, I was wondering if the Verizon G2 had an unlocked bootloader. It's the last thing helping me choose from this abd the Maxx. So...does it?

Not yet no. However, Loki has been successfully ported to all of the available variants thus we currently do have a way around the bootloader to flash custom recovery (TWRP has already been ported as well) and ROMs. Since there is always a chance that the exploit can be patched via a carrier issued software update, you have to be careful with OTA updates.

But as of yet, there is no "developer edition" of the G2 and all Verizon versions (AT&T and T-Mobile as well ... Sprint remains to be seen) come out of the box with a locked bootloader.
