Unlocked HTC Inspire 4G with T-Mobile will not update

I am on the Prepaid t mobile wal-mart plan and I have been trying to figure out a way to update the phone to the latest android software can some one help me I have also tried *#*#682#*# all that good stuff and nada nothing zilch

Sadly, the HTC Inspire 4G will not receive the official firmware for the latest build of android. You'll have to resort to using custom ROMs if you want the latest software. (Assuming there ARE custom ROMs for your device, that is.)
