Anyone know if I can use an unlocked Moto X '14 on Verizon's prepaid service. It isn't listed as a prepaid device? If not can I just buy it and use it on their regular service? I was recently offered one pretty cheap, and thought I would give it a go if I can. I'm currently using a Galaxy S4 on their prepaid service.

Any Verizon post paid device can be used on its prepaid service. But not vice versa.

Now if it isn't a Verizon moto x 14 then it won't work on Verizon.

Sent from my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 5

Yes you can use it on prepaid and vice versa
Even if you only have hsm only version ... Verizon uses GSM for lte CDMA for 3g ...so you will have to go with a lte plan on prepaid .... I have a moto x 14 which was on vzw prepaid for 1 year and recently changed to contract..

yes, Ry, agreed.
After many attempts, a Verizon operator finally spelled it out. You cannot activate an unlocked phone ( one that is not a verizon model) on a pre-paid account. Mine was finally activated on a post paid account.
