I got a Samsung+ notification about the S-Pen and when I went in to check that, I got the One UI Beta badge. I registered and within a few minutes it was available. Didn’t take long for me to fall in love.

So I lost some of my AODs with Pie. I go to download the APK for the additional AOD and it wont download even though I have the security settings turned off.

I wish I waited for the actual version instead of being a test dummy for it lol but I bought into the hype.

It's beta meaning things will be broken until final release

Is there anyway to revert back to where I was? Not quite ready to do that yet, but would like to know how if possible.

I like One UI so much that I'm willing to put up with some extras not working. If there was something device crippling, I'd just use my 2 XL until the official release or an updated Beta.

if anyone wants to go back oreo use smart switch. fastest way
if u want stay in the beta dont un register through the Samsung plus app and can go back and forth from beta to oreo

I done it. I had to go-to the play store and locate Samsung + app, then below that was an option to enroll in the beta version of the Samsung + app. That took ages to enroll. Once that was done I it updated the Samsung + app to the beta version. I launched the Samsung + beta and received the notification to enroll into the beta program . All done now.

Ok I installed the beta and it seems ok but I uninstalled it cause I can't connect my Galaxy Watch.

Downloaded the new Samsung plus and don't see the option guessing I'm not unlocked, wasn't sure since I bought a phone off of eBay. Has to mean it's getting closer for everyone else.

Patience with these updates are everything. Let them work out the kinks first.

I deregistered and thought that checking for a software update would download the last Oreo version... but it just keeps telling me that I have the latest.

How can I use smart switch if I didn't use it before upgrading?

I'm guessing my only option now is factory reset then reinstall everything all over again?

I'll go into why I hated it tomorrow, in the meantime I'd just like to know the easiest way to get back to Oreo.

First you made a mistake to deregister as you can go back and forth..now just simply plug in to smart switch and it will ask u do u want to to go back to latest oreo build for your device
