I've only had one unlocked phone (Nexus 5) and it was really easy to buy and set up with a sim card

Somehow getting the Edge seems way harder - I guess I have to specify a carrier to go through even though I'm just going to use my TMobile prepaid plan?

Do I have to go through the TMobile site? Or can I do through something independent like BestBuy. I'm dying of jealousy for those folks already getting theirs!

There are many different models of the S6 Edge. As long as you get an SM-G925T it'll work on TMobile. Unlocked devices will be available in a while (for more money).

Thanks! So unlocked will be even more than the "full retail"cost available now from TMobile?

I am trying to buy an S6 Edge on Att wireless website at off contract price. It still forces you to choose a plan before you can add it to the cart. Go figure..;.

I have prepaid tmobile as well. Called them on Friday to try and purchase the phone at full price. I was told it was not available for prepaid plans, but that I could order one with a plan, and then cancel the plan before the 30 day trial is up. Then keep the phone with my prepaid account.

Hope it works as easily as the described. My phone arrives Thursday, so we'll see.

So can you tell me the significance of the last letter? As in what is the difference between G925T and G925F?
